Overview

PawLife is a pet care log and health record app for iPhone and iPad. It has no account, no server of its own and no analytics service. Everything you enter stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what the app stores, what it asks permission for, and what leaves your device only when you choose to share it.

Data Stored on Your Device

We do not collect, receive or store any of your data on our servers. PawLife has no backend and makes no network requests of its own. The following is saved only on your device, using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• Pet profiles: name, species, breed, birthday, weight history and an optional photo.
• Health records: vet visits, vaccinations, medications, symptoms, emergency information and photos you attach.
• The daily care log: meals, medication, walks, water, treats, grooming and potty breaks, each stamped with the time and, if you have typed one in Settings, your name, so that people sharing the device can see who did what.
• Care routines, reminders and expenses, including the insurance calculator's inputs.

None of this is uploaded, synced to a PawLife server, or shared with us or with any third party. The current version of PawLife does not use iCloud sync; your data is included only in your normal iPhone or iCloud device backup, which Apple manages under its own privacy policy.

The Home Screen Widget

The PawLife widget reads and writes the same care log as the app, through a shared container on your device, so that a tap on the widget can record a meal or a walk. No widget data leaves your device.

Photos

When you attach a photo to a pet or a record, PawLife opens Apple's photo picker. The picker only hands the app the photos you select; PawLife does not read your photo library and does not use the camera. Selected photos are stored locally inside the app's data.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, PawLife schedules care, medication and appointment reminders locally on your device. No notification data leaves your device.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No account, email address, phone number or password
• No location data
• No analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs
• No advertising identifiers and no ads
• No contacts, microphone, camera or health data

PawLife keeps a few usage counters on the device itself (for example, whether onboarding was completed). They are never transmitted anywhere.

Exports and Sharing

The pet-sitter card, vet-visit prep sheet, vet report, emergency information card, annual cost report, photos and the data export in Settings are files generated on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where they go after that is your choice; PawLife never receives a copy.

In-App Purchases

PawLife Premium subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never receive your payment details. PawLife checks your purchase status with Apple on your device. Apple's privacy policy governs these transactions.

Data Deletion

Settings → Clear All Data permanently deletes every pet, record, care-log entry, expense and photo. Deleting the app removes everything as well. Because nothing is stored on our servers, there is nothing further for us to delete.

Children's Privacy

PawLife is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
