The short version: your child's drawings never leave this device, and we never know who your family is.
There are no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, and no third-party tracking or advertising SDKs of any kind. From version 1.7, Drawtopia sends us two narrow things: anonymous daily counts (like how many lessons were finished) and any feedback your family chooses to send. Never drawings, names or photos.
All of the following is stored only on the iPhone or iPad where Drawtopia is installed. We cannot see it, and nobody else can either:
Because none of this is copied anywhere, deleting the app deletes it permanently, and we have no way to recover it.
From version 1.7, each device sends a small daily tally so we can tell which lessons work and what to improve — for example how many lessons were finished, or how often the subscribe screen was seen that day. Each tally also says which app version and language you use, and whether the device is an iPhone or an iPad.
These counts carry no names, no identifiers and no drawings, and cannot be traced back to your child, your family or your device. They are totals for a day, nothing more.
Written messages and reply addresses are encrypted on the device, so only we can read them.
Usage totals and feedback go to our own private area of Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). No analytics or advertising company is involved at any point.
If a parent turns on the daily drawing reminder, or the reminder before a free trial ends, the notification is scheduled by iOS on your device. There is no notification server and no push token is sent anywhere. Reminders can be switched off in Parent Corner or in iOS Settings.
Drawtopia Pro is sold as an optional subscription through Apple. Apple handles all payment details — we never see your name, card or Apple Account. The app checks whether Pro is active using Apple's StoreKit on your device. Purchases sit behind a parent check, and Apple's Ask to Buy is supported. You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Drawtopia is made for children aged about 4–10, and for the parents who set it up with them. We do not collect personal information from children. Anything a child enters — an artist name, a comic caption, a creature they invented — stays on the device and is never sent to us; children can only answer us in taps. Buying, opening links outside the app, changing parent settings and turning on reminders all require a parent check first.
If you have opted in to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics such as download counts and crash reports. These never identify you or your child. Apple's handling of this is described in Apple's privacy policy.
If a future version of Drawtopia ever changes what the app collects, this page will be updated — with a new date — before that version is released.
