By downloading or using Emberwell: Perimenopause ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Emberwell is a personal tracking and education tool for perimenopause and menopause. It lets you log symptoms, daily check-ins, cycle days, hormone therapy and doses, and lab results; view your own history; read cited educational explainers; and generate a report to bring to a clinician.
Emberwell is NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and it does not prescribe or recommend hormone therapy or any other treatment. Educational content is general information, cited to sources such as The Menopause Society, NICE, and the NHS; it is not personalized advice.
Insights are descriptive summaries of the data you entered, shown with their sample sizes. An association shown in the App is not proof of cause, and "no pattern found" is a legitimate result.
Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about your health or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of anything in the App. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
Emberwell is free to download and free to use for tracking. Unlimited symptom logging, the daily check-in, the current-month calendar, the weekly digest, the full education library, hormone-therapy tracking and reminders, and data export are free forever and are not gated by any subscription.
Emberwell Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks pattern insights, the doctor-visit PDF report, and access to your full past history. It is offered as:
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region; the exact price and renewal date are shown in the App before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Emberwell does not offer a lifetime or one-time-purchase option.
Canceling Plus never deletes anything you logged, and export remains free.
Everything you enter stays on your device. There is no account, no Emberwell server, and no analytics. Because we never receive your data, we cannot recover it for you — your iPhone backup and the App's free export are your recovery paths. See our Privacy Policy for details.
All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Vertex Lab Solutions and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The data you enter is yours.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vertex Lab Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time without notice for conduct that violates these Terms.
We reserve the right to update these Terms. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York.
